Like everyone else I find the site great and people very helpful and welcoming to newcomers. (I look forwrd to some day being able to help someone else!).

I found you all via the SP site and can't believe I'd not found it before. Have been working away on family history for about 20 years or so and still find it fascinating. Problem is that this site is so interesting I've not done any real work for about two weeks since I joined!

I found talking scot accidentally or luckily while searching for another site. I used the Scotsman online to find geneology sites, as well as google searches. I would have been very happy to find you early in my searching, glad I finally did.

Hi, I've known about Talking Scot for quite a while now - over a year -and have regularly dropped in to browse but just didn't get round to registering till now. I can't remember where I first heard of you, it was probably from Scotlands People, I'm glad that I did though as it's a great site.
